Position: Maintenance Supervisor 

Location: Sunrise, FL

Pay: $29/hour 

Experience:

1. 3+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential or multifamily properties. 
2. Previous supervisory or lead maintenance experience preferred.

Education: High school diploma or GED required. 

Type: Full-time; Temporary  

Schedule: Monday - Friday. Day Shift

HH Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join a growing and dynamic team!   

Job Description:  

1. Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team to ensure the property is well maintained.
2. Oversee and complete repairs in apartments, common areas, building systems, and property grounds.
3. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and other mechanical systems.
4. Assign and prioritize work orders while ensuring resident requests are completed promptly and professionally.
5. Perform and oversee preventive maintenance, apartment make-readies, inspections, and property improvement projects.
6. Train, support, and monitor maintenance staff to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety procedures.
7. Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, inventory, and preventive maintenance activities.
8. Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors, including obtaining estimates and monitoring completed work.
9. Assist with maintenance budgets, inventory control, purchasing, and other administrative responsibilities.
10. Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies and participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

Position Requirements:  

1. Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building maintenance.
2. EPA certification required or preferred depending on property needs.
3. Strong troubleshooting, organization, and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to lead a team while also performing hands-on maintenance work.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
6. Ability to prioritize multiple work orders and meet deadlines.
7. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work indoors and outdoors as needed.
8. Must be available for emergency calls, weekends, and participation in an on-call rotation.
