Seeking a Bilingual Leasing Agent with HUD & Tax Credit Experience

Position: Bilingual Leasing Agent  

Location: Tampa, FL

Pay: Up to $21/hour 

Experience:  

1. Previous HUD housing experience required
2. Tax Credit / LIHTC experience is required
3. Previous multifamily apartment leasing experience

Type: Full-time; Temp to Hire  

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm 

HH Staffing is seeking an experienced Bilingual Leasing Consultant (English/Spanish) for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a residential apartment community.

Job Description:  

1. Greet prospective and current residents and provide excellent customer service
2. Conduct property tours and communicate community features and available apartment homes
3. Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in person
4. Assist applicants throughout the application and leasing process
5. Process applications, leases, renewals, and other required leasing documentation
6. Assist with HUD and Tax Credit eligibility and compliance documentation
7. Maintain accurate and organized resident and applicant files
8. Assist current residents with questions, concerns, and general office needs
9. Maintain knowledge of Fair Housing guidelines and affordable housing requirements
10. Complete administrative duties and maintain accurate records
11. Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:    

1. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
2. Experience processing leasing applications and resident documentation
3. Knowledge of Fair Housing practices
4. Comfortable using property management, leasing, and general office software
5. Strong understanding of affordable housing documentation and compliance procedures
6. Excellent customer service and communication skills
7. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
8. Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced leasing environment
9. Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
