Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Pay: $22 to $23/hour

Experience: 2 years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.

Type: Full-time; Temporary

Schedule: Monday - Friday

HH Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team! 

Job Description:

1. Complete maintenance work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
2. Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
3. Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and community amenities.
4. Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents, including repairs, painting, and final inspections.
5. Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
6. Install, repair, and replace fixtures, appliances, lighting, and hardware as needed.
7. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, grounds, and maintenance facilities.
8. Respond to emergency maintenance calls and participate in an on-call rotation as required.
9. Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
10. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
11. Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and property management regarding maintenance requests and repairs.

Position Requirements:   

1. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.
2. EPA Certification is preferred (or required, depending on the property).
3. Ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues independently.
4. Strong customer service and communication skills.
5. Ability to prioritize multiple work orders in a fast-paced environment.
6. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
