Position: Maintenance Technician 

Location: Coconut Creek, FL

Pay: $24 to $25/hour 

Experience: 1–2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential, apartment, hospitality, or commercial settings. 

Education:

1. HVAC certification is required.
2. High school diploma or GED preferred. 

Type: Full-time; Temp to Hire

HH Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!   

Job Description:  

1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout apartments, common areas, and property grounds.
2. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and other building systems.
3. Complete work orders, preventive maintenance, and apartment make-ready repairs in a timely manner.
4. Inspect the property regularly and address maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and equipment issues.
5. Respond to resident maintenance requests and emergency service calls with professionalism and good customer service.
6. Perform general repairs, including painting, drywall, carpentry, flooring, and fixture replacement.
7. Maintain accurate work orders and records of completed repairs and preventive maintenance.
8. Assist with maintaining maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.

Position Requirements:   

1. Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
2. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond to maintenance requests efficiently.
5. Professional communication and customer service skills.
6. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work indoors and outdoors as needed.
