Position: HVAC Maintenance Technician 

Location: Clearwater, FL

Pay: $25 to $26/hour

Experience:  

1. Previous apartment, multifamily, or residential property management maintenance experience required.
2. Experience completing apartment turns and resident work orders.

Education: HVAC certification and/or EPA Universal certification required.

Type: Full-time; Temporary  

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm

HH Staffing is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!   

Job Description:  

1. Complete resident work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
2. Diagnose and repair HVAC systems and assist with preventative HVAC maintenance.
3. Perform general plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, drywall, and other property repairs.
4. Complete apartment turns and make-ready work to prepare units for new residents.
5. Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community.
6. Troubleshoot maintenance concerns and determine appropriate repairs.
7. Respond professionally to resident maintenance requests and service concerns.
8. Inspect units, common areas, and property equipment for maintenance or safety issues.
9. Maintain organized tools, equipment, parts, and maintenance areas.
10. Communicate effectively with the Maintenance Supervisor, Property Manager, vendors, and residents.

Position Requirements:    

1. Strong troubleshooting skills across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building maintenance.
2. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance requests.
3. Reliable transportation required.
4. Must be dependable and able to report to the Clearwater-area property as scheduled.
5. Must be willing and able to participate in a rotating on-call schedule after hire.
6. Excellent communication and resident customer-service skills.
